Recipes for Christmas: Cakes and tarts. No. 3 of 7 - Christmas Muffins

Not suitable for freezing

Christmas recipe instructions:


Cranberries, fresh 175 g (6 oz)


Icing sugar, sifted 50 g (2 oz)


Flour, 150 g of whole-grain level (5 ounces)


Farina, a plain white 150 g (5 oz)


Baking powder, 15 ml (1 tablespoon)


Spices, chopped 5 ml (1 teaspoon)


Salt, 2.5 ml (half teaspoon)


Brown sugar 50 g (2 oz)


Egg1


Milk, 250 ml (8 oz fl)


vegetable oil, 50 ml (2 fl oz)


Christmas recipe instructions:


Mix icing sugar with halved cranberries.


Take a twelve Muffin Tin Cup and grease with butter or cases, using the card. In a bowl, brown sugar, salt, spices, yeast and flour and two. Make a hole in the middle.


Add a mixture of beaten egg / milk / oil mixture into the hole and just. Then add the cranberries and stir quickly. The final product should be a mix of maximumClots and air bubbles visible.
[Note: Instead of cranberries, you can use ground meat (225 g, 8 ounces) placed in the hole.]


Take the mixture and fill the muffin cups two-thirds and bake at gas mark 4 (180 degfrees Celsius, 350 F) until they are golden and well risen. Approximately 20 minutes.


Cool for a while 'and serve hot.
